My students with special needs have difficulty regulating their bodies and their emotions. Being at school all day can be challenging, and it's not just about academics. All students, but especially my students with special needs, also have to navigate social, sensory, and communication challenges. During this navigation, students become dis-regulated emotionally and physically, which makes it difficult for them to be completely successful at school. Items such as the WOBBLE Chairs, Senseez Vibrating Cushions, Timer Timers, Visual Cards for Calming, and Art3d mats will give my students tools to help them listen to and regulate their bodies and minds.
