Our students are in a credit recovery program due to struggles/ hardships in traditional, school programs. With very limited science supplies, we are building a new, strong foundation for our students in science to motivate and get these kids interested in science and STEM-related projects again. These supplies will allow them to be involved in their education by completing community projects such as building bat houses, extraction of DNA to solve a crime scene, and designing a working Rube Goldberg machine. In addition, the students will be able to design solutions for real-world problems in a project-based class.

About my class
