My students have never known a time without computers. They are immersed in technology all around them. My students are growing up in a time with Facebook Live, Video chatting, and Virtual Reality bringing the world to them, through their computer monitor. I am asking for three Chromebooks to use in my classroom for a variety of digital learning experiences. We currently have only four classroom computers, and in a class of nineteen students (at a time), there is no way I can allow them an adequate amount of time on the computers each day. That being said, I also have some non-english speaking learners who utilizes Rosetta-Stone and other learning tools to bring them up to speed. These are programs that can only be accessed on a computer. With the addition of three computers I would be able to increase their computer time and my other students as well.
