My English language (EL) students are eager to learn and want to succeed! We've just begun in-person learning and our school continues to follow CDC guidelines when it comes to wearing proper PPE and adhering to social distancing measures. With these unfamiliar procedures, the English learning students in my class do not have access to hands-on visuals and manipulatives that are imperative in their language acquisition. My newcomer English Learners need visual supports in their literacy learning. Their learning space is not equipped with a projector. English Learners learn best with accompanied visuals, and a projector would provide that perfectly!
