With your caring support, my students will continue to develop a growth mindset and learn during the pandemic. These items are essential and have been carefully chosen with my students' academic success in mind. Having access to noise cancellation headphones is invaluable and serves many purposes in my classroom. With a classroom full of students collaborating on various assignments per subject, while mindfully creating a quiet space to promote student focus during asynchronous learning, and having students take their test as an IEP Accommodation, are just some examples. For safety measures, the UV Light Sanitizer will allow me to keep small to medium size classroom materials safe and clean for everyday use. The easel pads are just what my students need for small group conversation-based presentations with graphic aids. Lastly, as the only teacher on campus without a classroom, and must roving to 3 classrooms daily, having a utility cart would be nice so I can bring most of the necessary materials from one classroom to the next. Our district is expected to return to school mid-October 2020, thus preparing for the new challenges while keeping my students safe is essential for their academic success. With these items, my students will continue to be engaged with a growth mindset through the use of UDL strategies.
