My students currently are using very old Texas Instruments graphing calculators. Many of them have screens with missing pixels and burned out spots due to long years of service. They run through batteries very quickly. It would be a big help to have new graphing calculators with rechargeable batteries that they can check out for use during the year and use on their AP Exam. There is a need for underrepresented, underserved students to have the opportunity to take and excel on AP Exams. My students are willing to do the work all they need is a little help with equipment.
