Teaching dual language, Spanish and English, is challenging, but very rewarding. The teachers have more content to cover, the students have twice as many books and a lot is expected of them! This year, teaching my students on the days they are home, I am tasked with keeping them engaged over the computer! It is not an easy task, and without a full curriculum in Spanish, I spend a great deal of time creating and searching for materials to use with my students. With a unique position, the only fourth grade dual language teacher and a remote teacher too, having access to materials made by other teachers in a similar position, would be hugely helpful!
