The items I've selected are intended to help my kindergartners appropriately fidget and move, but still be able to stay with the group and learn the lesson. Kindergartners in Washington are required to be at school all-day, five days a week; that is a tough transition, especially when some have never been to daycare or preschool. All of the items I’ve selected are to help kids move with purpose, and most are to help kids learn to focus their energy. The chair bands and yoga balls will help fidgety kids remain seated and focused on the lesson without disrupting others learning or a need to leave the lesson. The hands-on aspect of the ten-frame magnets are perfect for little bodies to move and learn. Thank you for helping me create an atmosphere that is the most inclusive and safest for the youngest of students.
