My school plans to have a playground with a bike path and trikes to allow our children to learn how to ride a bike, maybe for the first time ever. We plan to build a playground at our newly renovated Head Start facility, which serves 63 young children. We want the children to have a variety of choices of activities to keep them busy and to help develop large motor skills such as pedaling. Pedaling can be a difficult concept to grasp if children have not had prior exposure before preschool. Additionally, we will need storage for helmets for our children to freely explore and use at their own pace.
