As a first year teacher, I'm excited to fill my room with materials to help my kindergarteners (now and in the future) become successful learners. With word puzzles, magnetic letters and cvc word building blocks, I'll be able to set up centers to help students improve literacy. I'll also be able to set up math centers with counting manipulatives to help master counting with one to one correspondence and grouping. Hands on activities keep students engaged and eager to learn. I'm also hoping to provide a variety of books to help students develop a life long love for reading. Frequent exposure to books greatly improves fluency. In advance, I'd like to thank you for your help and support.
