As a Speech Therapist in the school system our job is to help these students learn the concepts that they need to be successful in and out of the classroom. The donation to this project will help us get our students to where they need to be. Due to the diversity in our groups we can use the Language Building cards for labeling, categorizing and sorting. Once those goals are accomplished, we will use those cards to create sentences, to further enhance their language skills. The Step 1 books will allow our little kids to choose their own book to practice their speech sounds, with the variety of books, the children will be eager to participate which will increase their confidence.
