A significant amount of my students have experienced trauma and/or have been diagnosed with disabilities. Flexible seating will offer my learners the opportunity to have their physical needs met so that we can focus on fun academic success and move the learning forward. Specifically, I plan to use the wobble chairs during my small group instruction to help my students get their fidgets out so they can focus on their work. Alternatively, I plan to use the large beanbag chairs during reading to encourage an increase in stamina. The chairs will also provide a soothing place to go for a child who is having a rough day. Please hook us up!
