As a teacher, I have a passion for my students. I have a passion to teach my students of the different worlds out there that lie in books. I have a passion to show my students all the connections that are waiting for them to find. Fahrenheit 451 shows students a world they don't have to accept. It shows students what is worth fighting for, and how to fight, rather than what is happening in the world today. I love this book for all it stands for. Not censorship, but being in the moment. Alongside Mindfulness, this book has more to offer students than the literary elements. It has the potential to open the minds of many students and have a lasting effect as they enter the world.
