I teach third grade at Sharon Hill Elementary School. We are a Title One school district. We typically have a range of 24-28 students in a classroom. My classroom contains general education students and special education students. We work primarily in small group so that I can meet the needs of each student individually and as a small group. With whole group I am unable to meet the diverse needs of each individual student.
My students are energetic and ready to learn! They often come in with lots of energy and love hands on activities that keep them entertained and busy. I try to keep my classroom energetic and entertaining by teaching with hands on activities and resources.
Throughout the day we are moving to different groups and activities. We have brain breaks to give them a few minutes to unwind and get ready for the next subject. Any donations to any project is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
