Earbuds will make such a difference for my kiddos. We have the ability to listen to stories in English and in several other languages and most of them need to have earbuds to listen to stories at their own pace and in their native languages. They will benefit greatly by being read to. Hearing fluently read text increases the students' abilities to become fluent readers in any language. My goal is to develop life long lovers of reading. I use several different websites, including the local online library, for the students to read and discover who they are as readers. I tell the kiddos all the time, "If you don't love reading, you're reading the wrong book." I truly believe there is a book for everyone. I just need my students to HEAR what they're missing. I truly hope you are able to help and I thank you for your support.
