Winter can be long. Students are often stuck inside all winter long and aren't able to enjoy all of the seasons Wisconsin has to offer. With the addition of snowshoes to our physical education curriculum, we can show students how fun it can be to stay active outside during the long cold winter. Equipment for all seasons! The snowshoes are reliable and come in enough sizes and weight varieties to compliment all of my students. I chose these materials because they were rated highly for the age of students they will be used for. Snowshoes along with other equipment will create a learning atmosphere for all students. It shows that no matter the season we can still stay active. This is the best way to create lifelong learners in the Physical Education classroom. Teach them that even with snow on the ground, things can still get done.
