My name is Mekaila. I am a seventeen year old senior at Milwaukee Academy of Science. I am a youth artist , a painter, and a youth entrepreneur. I am also passionate about helping others in my community. It has always been a goal of mine to help others through art. With the help of my teacher (Mr,s. Frew) dean (Kaylin), and guidance counselor, I was connected with my school's Junior Academy Principal to start an elective art class. The goal of this class is to create a space where other students can learn to paint and screen print. We will also create murals. This class will allow the students to freely express themselves and contribute to their school community. It may help some students to imagine their own creative dreams and lead them towards youth entrepreneurship. Any donations or support are appreciated.
