Throughout history technology has been the driving force of change, it has been embraced and incorporated in our daily lives. As an educator it is a must to integrate technology into the curriculum because it has become an integral part of a modern classroom. Students can gain from the use of technology and improve performance in the classroom. Students need to be exposed to and familiarize with current technologies in order to succeed in the 21st century world. "Children today need global awareness and the use of technology in a classroom will help them develop i.e. have notice that since I used Peardeck kids are more engaging and eager to learn in the classroom. They are not afraid of sharing their ideas while using this tool, my students can work in IXL to improve math skills, Peardeck to introduce literacy through technology, record their own videos with the use of Flipgrid, also intervention will be more meaning with the use of the Chromebooks in order for students to reinforce certain skills with programs like Quizizz. I will use the Chromebooks in small groups/remediation or research, this way my 16 students can share and take turns using them. The world is dominated by technology in all forms and in order to be successful students must possess 21st Century skills and I do not want my students to stay behind on this. By donating to our project you will help my students become more 21st century kids learning about technology and how to implement it in the classroom.
