Our kindergarten classroom is filled with 24 students who come ready to learn every morning at 7:40 AM. Our classroom engages in exploring, learning, and and getting to know one another on a daily basis. Students are encouraged to not only learn a lot academically but to be a kind soul and embrace one another in our classroom. There are variety of needs in our classroom ranging from special education, English language learners, various socioeconomic backgrounds, and of course the overall curiosity and anxiousness a 5 or 6 year old may have when first entering the school environment. Kindergarten is by far my favorite grade because students show so much growth academically and socially. It is important at this age not only do they grown academically but they learn to love school!
