For the last 15 minutes of my class, every student is required to pull out a book and have independent reading time. I need for my students to build their reading stamina and their comprehension skills. Reading books in which they have genuine interests helps to make that happen. Your donation will provide a book for every type of reader! From kids who love fantasy to kids who are die-hard sports fans, this collection covers a wide variety of topics and genres. DEAR time (drop everything and read) will become a sacred part of the day that students look forward to - and I want to get my students to always look forward to reading!
