My students will research various Spanish speaking countries to discuss cultural differences and similarities between the U.S and these countries. They will incorporate pictures, recipes and other resources to discuss the culture of these countries. Students will ultimately learn about other cultures in a meaningful way. The use of the headphones would help them to listen to authentic resources from these countries as they use the computer. Students will also get an opportunity to speak to individuals who are from these countries so that their experiences can be enriched. They will also create recipes of food from these countries and then compare them to the food in the U.S. These projects will also create an attractive and informative atmosphere in the classroom. Students can constantly learn from them as they have something to refer to.
