My school, classroom and students were greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey. I lost many classroom supplies because of flooding in my room. A lot of my students still are displaced. Having a listening center in my classroom will provide students an opportunity to develop their reading, tracking, and fluency skills. Having a magnetic standup center will allow my students to work on phonics, abc, and spelling. I would like to add flexible seating to allow the students a choice which makes them feel more comfortable and enjoy reading and classwork. These items are greatly needed to help my students be life long learners. The following items will help my students find things in the classroom in a more organized matter. The tray mobile organizer will allow my students to choose items for arts and crafts and stations. The heavy duty trays will hold the educational games and assignments for SAIL. The caddies will hold the students' immediate supplies needed for everyday work at their tables. The chart tablets are for teacher made anchor charts for students to use for phonics and phonemic awareness.
