Our scholars will engage in rigorous computer science enrichment courses in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Before using more advanced programs like Scratch, scholars need to build their directionality and programming skills. Bee-Bots are the first step! In small groups, scholars can program the Bee-Bots to reach desired locations with a series of arrows and actions that create and store the robot's path. If scholars make a mistake in their programming, they must use reverse thinking to fix the error and change the direction and action steps in the code. Bee-Bots are interactive and fun. They develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We cannot wait to expose our scholars to this opportunity!
