The children in my classroom are mainly Head Start and Preschool students which can benefit from a large bright and inviting rug to use during large group activities within our classroom. It can provide a room within the room, a space that is well measured out a defined for each student. This rug can help with classroom organization. A new rug can improve the quality of our classroom. It will provide comfort and a homelike feel to our environment. My students truly need a comfy area for our group activities in our classroom. This rug will be used several times every day. We will use the rug for calendar time, read aloud time, practice language activities, math activities. This will be a social time to talk to each other rand learn about one another. A new rug would be a fabulous addition to our classroom.
