My students are budding mathematicians and they are able to use technology to support mathematical discovery. However, my students are also at a disadvantage because they are, at times, unable to afford graphing calculators, a key tool in engaging with AP Calculus testing. By having a class set of graphing calculators, students will be able to become proficient in using the technology and have the resource to use on the AP test. Graphing calculators are a valuable tool in a mathematicians toolbox but in the past only about 10% of my students have been able to acquire one on their own. Please help me support my students by providing them this resource and the opportunity to learn the technology.
