I have always enjoyed photography and would like to share my enthusiasm for the art technique with my students. While my students are likely skilled in photography with smartphones and iPads, it isn't the same as looking through a camera lens. I would love to be able to teach my students how to use a real digital camera and to increase their appreciation of photography. In order to do so, I need to have the opportunity of getting the equipment in the hands of my students. With the cost of equipment items adding up, I am reaching out for help. I can not wait to teach my students how to use manual cameras to take powerful images, and to teach them the techniques of photojournalism, portrait photography, landscape photography, and experimental photography. Help me give my students the experience of photography! This is an art technique they will not only be able to use in the classroom, but around our school campus, and in their future.
