This year we are learning about Biology and AP Biology through hands-on, inquiry-based learning! We need lab equipment such as a yeast, lightbulbs, and colored ink. Every year students are really excited about science fair, however we have limited resources for students to prepare and carry out their experiments, projects and presentation. We will use the supplies for creating our science fair experiments and presentation. The color lights will be used for various photosynthesis labs. Your contribution will help bring these lab materials to an underserved population of students yearning for the opportunity to learn grade-level science that relates to their own understanding of the world. I have seen firsthand how project and inquiry-based learning transforms the educational experience for my students. They are ready to carry out inquiry based labs and activities, and I can't wait to give them the very best opportunity to succeed!
