The Surf Lap Desk and the floor cushions will allow my students to choose any spot in the room that they feel comfortable to work. This also makes collaboration super easy as they are given the opportunity to be mobile in their learning. Each child is unique, as is the way that they each learn and perform in the classroom. I want to see them become the best that they can. So, by affording them options in their learning each of them can grow to reach their fullest potential. A desk, or a table, is not always the best spot for learning. Sometimes a corner of the room, a hallway, or even out in the grass helps to ease nerves and make learning and creativity flow.
