My students struggle to find interest in reading. However, they love anything that is technology based. My hope is these Kindles will give my students a different experience with reading. The online libraries available on these tablets will open up a whole new world for them and will allow them to enjoy opportunities many would not have at home. This will also help with the limited space in my classroom as more books will be available with less space needed. By donating to my project, you will give students the opportunity to be successful in the literacy learning process and experience stories that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to read. I also believe it is important for students to know how to properly take care of the objects that they use. That is why I am ordering the cases. These tablets will also provide the opportunity for students who do not have computers at home to spend some time on learning games that will help them read and further their literacy skills. Thank you for caring about my students and taking the time and money to donate to this project.
