These materials will support my students in literacy and math. The rug will be used to create a cozy classroom library where students can relax and will hopefully feel excited to read. The other supplies will be used to support my student's academic growth in reading and math, including counting money, representing numbers with base 10 blocks, time, etc. As a first year teacher, I do not have many classroom materials nor do I have the funds to purchase them myself. If you choose to donate to my classroom, you would be supporting my students by providing tools and materials that I can use for scaffolding and supplemental materials to support the curriculum.
