I work in a behavior unit where the majority of my students have ADHD. Flexible seating gives them an opportunity for choice. This is also essential to children with trauma...they need that option (it gives them some control). Wobble seats and comfy floor seats will encourage safety and choice when time to do their work. Many kids fall out of chairs when they cannot sit still or sit correctly. The wobble seats will definitely benefit for those kiddos! The comfy floor seats provide back support and a fun way to do their work or read. I am excited to offer flexible seating in my room as a way to encourage their learning journey.
