Without access to textbooks, my students rely solely on worksheets and handouts. For sixth and seventh grade students, these are easily lost or torn up moving from class to class throughout the day. Our school district has access to google classroom, however, we do not have enough chromebooks to meet the needs of each student in a given class period. By adding Chromebooks to my classroom, students will have access to every assignment and lecture given throughout the week. This will make studying more realistic for students without textbooks and will significantly decrease the number of loose papers they have to keep up with. Utilizing Chromebooks in the classroom will allow my students to have access to millions of digital resources with the click of a button, increasing their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
