I have found that my students tend to be most excited about learning when they have something that is visually stimulating to look at. In order to provide the best learning experience for them, I constantly find myself at Office Depot or Staples printing out individual colored sheets of accommodations, picture schedules, handouts, and other engaging materials. As you can imagine this can add up to be a costly endeavor. Also, this year my students will have access to a google chrome book for the first time and be introduced to a new reading program. It would be highly motivating if my students were able to print out their achievements in color and be able to show their hard work off to their parents/guardians. All students deserve to have equal opportunities for success, please help me even the playing field and enhance their unique learning styles.
