As a teacher who uses the ukulele in the classroom everyday my goal is to spread my love of music and learning to my students. I use my ukulele to manage transitions and incorporate content and the enthusiasm I have for the ukulele is catching on like wildfire. My students are eager to learn not only the ukulele but take on the challenge of learning something new. "The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you"-BB King I love this quote because it reflects how I felt when first started learning to play the ukulele. My goal is to use the ukulele to share my love of music and to show that with practice and perseverance we can do anything. I will use these ukuleles with my second grade class and in my after school ukulele club. I believe that music helps students learn so many valuable skills that go beyond the curriculum and creates skills that can be used in life.
