A class rug is desperately needed by eager and dedicated students! In my classroom, we will gather together to do mini lessons, hold morning meetings, work collaboratively and have class discussions on our rug. Currently at our school we have hard tile floors so a new carpet would allow my students to sit and learn together while be clean and comfortable. A rug would also help students to stay in one area, but also allow them to be close enough to learn from each other. A large comfy rug would really be something my students would love, appreciate and put to great use!!
