The materials that I am requesting will support my Preschool students in so many ways! Kindergarten is just a year away for most of my students, and I want to help them build the math and literacy skills that they will need to thrive in school and in life! I have requested a variety of math toys and games that will support my students in developing early math skills, such as counting, number recognition, and patterning. These skills are crucial for future school success, and these materials will allow my students to practice these skills in fun ways! The new books, the puppets and felt story boards will provide us with fun, engaging story times. My vision is to create a print-rich environment in my classroom, and to develop a love of reading in my students! I have included an iPad that will support me in documenting children's learning, throughout notes and photos, which supports me in supporting development and learning in my classroom!
