I have been using the same Yamaha keyboard for ten years in my general music classes. Ten years is a long time for a portable keyboard. There are notes missing and beats that won't play. There are electrical issues as well. A new keyboard would greatly enhance the music experience of over a hundred and fifty amazing, special education students. The sounds of the new Yamaha keyboard will be a source of joy for so many students. The older students know what "cool" and modern beats are and will be more likely to appreciate music with the beats that this keyboard will provide.
