All the materials that are in this project will be used for student instruments. The buckets and drums will be used with a curriculum called "bucket drumming." One of my classes has a desire to learn the ukulele. I need to learn how to play too, so we will use the ukulele and book together. Twelves year old children are very active and need times during their day to release energy. Our students are lucky enough to have the opportunity to do that everyday. My goal is to give the best opportunity to my students is my goal. I want them to experience the same opportunities that public school students are afforded. Because we are a charter school we do not receive the same funds that public schools receive. So we have to find creative ways to make it happen.
