Teaching a digital media class is already difficult. Students are challenged with learning how to master skills of photography and videography. It becomes even more difficult when there are not enough cameras to go around. By funding this project my students will have access to cameras so that they can practice and master the skills needed to use equipment properly. Students will be able to use a camera to its full capability and not just simply push a button to take a photo. They will be able to understand the different settings on a camera and be able to use them correctly. In a digitally dominated world, the class will acquire basic photography, and video production skills that will be beneficial in their near future.
