I have asked for cleaning supplies and resources to help with the school year. For many, this will be the first year that these students will attend school and I want it to be as "normal" as possible. That being said, as teachers, we are responsible for cleaning the materials we use everyday and I could use some help. I want to give these parents a peace of mind that there student will be protected to the best of my ability. With a limited teaching track, my students deserve to have resources that will better assist with their education. I will be teaching two track classes, meaning that I will only see each class twice a week. I want to make sure that I have some resources that are both for their education, but also to help develop them as a person. I am asking for a couple of different items. I am asking for expo markers, so the students are able to use individual white boards. We go through expo markers quickly, so I could use some more. The American Sign Language poster will help with recognition of letters without just giving them the answer. The alphabet pocket chart will help my students grasp the alphabet, I am hoping quicker, considering that I will only see them two days a week. The disinfectant spray is my most important item! Our janitors will only clean our classroom walls, floors, and bathrooms. Unfortunately, I will be cleaning everything else myself. I want to be able to use manipulatives and let them have as much of a "normal" year as much as possible. Cleaning every little thing in my class will not be easy and the spray will be more efficient.
