Sight word recognition is perhaps the hardest learning task for Kindergarteners! The consistency and frequency of using them is important!! Students become better readers when they can recognize sight words. Kindergarteners are wiggle worms and they need wobble cushions to assist with them being still and focused while learning. It is extremely helpful to teachers when students are attentive to lessons. These wiggle cushions will make it a lot easier for both the students and me!! Perhaps one of the most important challenges is creating a classroom that is conducive to every child's learning no matter the varying levels they may be at.
