My students tend to do better when they know they are working for something. So any little reward increases their interests in the tasks at hand. I am asking for a variety of scented smencils/pencils. These smencils are like gold to elementary kids so I am positive that if they know that smencils are a possible incentive, they will shine. Today upon working on a game I rewarded them with bookmarks and they became beyond excited at the chance of earning a bookmark. A smencil would be amazing to some of my students. Some don't even have school supplies so when they receive something they really appreciate it. I hope you all can help our wonderful students.
