My students are all classified as having special needs and are in a self-contained setting. They each have individualized learning plans and are very visual and tactile learners. Having various materials to teach these guys ensures that I am teaching them in a meaningful way tailored to each kids needs. These learning materials can help my students learn towards their individual goals and focus on assisting with OT supports. These learning materials assist with multiple areas in which my students have needs. My students also have difficulty with organization and personal space. Having materials that can help with organization assists with this.
