In my classroom, I encourage the students to spread out and get comfortable in a safe place while they read. The materials requested for this project would add a comfortable seating area in our classroom library. This space will allow my students to relax and enjoy learning how to read with their classmates. We have a large reading block and having young students with special needs can be challenging. They need to have flexible seating and options to remain engaged and focused in the lessons being taught to them. This seating area will provide a colorful choice in their reading adventures.
