Our Tinkering Lab is a space for student exploration and learning. Through hands-on and virtual learning students are mastering science concepts, building their math skills, and recognizing that they are engineers and artists too. The OSMO Learning System will allow students to work at their own pace to foster critical thinking and problem solving skills through virtual games and challenges. By creating a centers-based structure in our Lab, students have the opportunity to work on their own, with partners, or small groups to follow their interest and dig deep on the subjects that they find most interesting. This also allows me the opportunity to provide additional support to students who need it through small group instruction.
