My students are in need of headphones, but, unfortunately, we have none. The technology we use in our classroom requires that students are able to hear what it is that they are learning. They use websites like i-Ready along with Scholastic Literacy Pro to help them with their reading. Headphones are crucial for student success. Headphones help to block unwanted noise from within the classroom which helps students focus on the task at hand. If they do not have headphones, they often loose the motivation to complete their task or they get distracted by what is happening around them and are unable to complete their tasks. Headphones are a necessity.
