Flexible seating options give students more choice and control over their learning and workspace. Students learn better and are more engaged when given more choices. In my my classroom students can independently choose where they would like to work during independent time. I currently only have different carpeted spaces around the room. I have clipboards and lapboards that the students can use to do their work on. My goal is to have different places to sit including high tables and low tables. With these chairs, students will be able to work comfortably at a low table and would create another space for my students to work.
