When I asked them about their favorite interests it was almost unanimous amongst the students that they found Minecraft, Roblox, and videogames in general to be high interest books. And let me tell you it did not disappoint!\r\n\r\nMy students are now so excited to swap books every week as many of them will now come up to me and ask when we are going to go book shopping next. They are more persistent at silent reading and are quick to pull out their books when I tell them to read their silent reading books. \r\n\r\nI cannot tell you just how much me and my students appreciate your generous contribution to our classroom! Once a week I have students rotate their library books out and I cannot tell you how often I get a student come up to me and ask when we are going to be doing book shopping.
