My students need tool boxes and locks to complete breakout activities. Breakout activities require students to work problems and complete tasks as groups. Group work is an essential part of teaching students to work together. These activities are timed, so it helps them to learn to work together without arguing, or they will not accomplish their task. Breakout activities are fun for the students as well as the teacher. My students learn best when they are having fun, and these boxes will help us learn and have fun. We have done similar activities, and these materials will help us build on the collection we have already started. These activities also require black lights and invisible ink pens. The ink pens will be used to write clues for the students that they are only able to see with the black light. All of these materials will help my STEM centered science classroom be the best that it can be!
