At ENLACE, our students are fascinated by technology. It impacts their lives on a daily basis. While many students are content knowing that something works, our students ask why and want to know how something works. Our students use applications and programs that are created by others through coding. Their curiosity about technology resulted in students asking for the opportunity to learn to code so that they can design their own applications and programs. Once our students began to code it has been nearly impossible to get them to stop. As their interest grew, more and more students began being interested in coding. This is why our students need more Chromebooks, as they are the most cost effective tool that our students can use to develop their coding abilities.
